Major League Soccer announced the 2017 home openers for all 22 clubs on Wednesday, with newcomers Minnesota United visiting the Portland Timbers in the opening match of the season on Friday, March 3.

The Seattle Sounders may be MLS Cup champions, but they are not standing pat this offseason. This is an excellent trade for Seattle it adds depth and a potential starter.
