With scoring down across Major League Soccer, it's clear that goalkeepers and their defenses have been hard at work this spring. And Week 6 brought another bevy of worthy contenders for MLS Save of the Week honors.

FC Dallas suffered a second consecutive defeat on Friday evening and their first this season at Toyota Stadium, falling 4-0 to the Colorado Rapids. Toronto FC return to action after a weekend off, their losing streak extended to three games in their last match, a 3-2 defeat at the Chicago Fire on April 4. The FC Dallas match will be the fifth in the seven-game road swing to start the season for TFC, while BMO Field is being renovated.

Goalkeeper Jaime Penedo recorded 10 saves – tied for second-most in a single game in LA Galaxy history – backstopping the 1-0 win against Seattle Sounders FC on Sunday evening which snapped a two-game losing streak and a four-game winless run. The Galaxy club record is 11 saves, recorded by Kevin Hartman in the 2003 season.

The Red Bulls remained undefeated on the season in dramatic fashion, Lloyd Sam pouncing on a rebound to score the 90th-minute equalizer for a 2-2 draw at D.C. United on Saturday evening. The Red Bulls and Real Salt Lake are the only MLS teams without a loss this season.
