PHILADELPHIA UNION vs NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION

- The Revolution extended their undefeated run to four games over the weekend, reaching a scoreless draw with Columbus Crew SC at Gillette Stadium, their second consecutive shutout.
- Union goalkeeper John McCarthy was credited with the victory in his MLS debut, the 2-1 win against New York City FC on Saturday afternoon. McCarthy took the place of Algerian international Rais Mbohli and backstopped Union’s first win of 2015; a year ago he was USL PRO Goalkeeper of the Year with the Rochester Rhinos.
- The road team won each of the last two league meetings between the clubs last season. The Revolution won 5-3 on May 17 at PPL Park; Union returned the favor with a 3-1 win at Gillette Stadium on June 28.
- The teams also played a U.S. Open Cup quarterfinal last season, Union with a 2-0 victory in Chester.
